Every headshot session is slightly different. While I do use similar lighting when shooting in the studio, a headshot session outdoor may differ session to session. Regardless of the setting, I make sure I deliver a high-quality headshot that has been scrutinized to make it the best it can be.

Here’s the process from start to finish:

  1.        Upload images using Lightroom
  2.        Simultaneously all images are uploaded to a cloud server to ensure no images are lost in case of fire, act of God, theft, or hard drive crash.
  3.        Each image is closely checked for focus, lighting, and composition.
  4.        Once I have culled the images I begin the color correction process.
  5.        Exposure, shadows, and highlights are adjusted.
  6.        Images are imported to Photoshop for further editing.
  7.        Blemishes, wrinkles, stray hairs, and other imperfections are minimized or removed.
  8.        Sharpening of eye and hair are applied.
  9.        Images are exported to a hard drive and cloud storage. (again, to ensure no images are lost)
  10.    Images are uploaded to the client gallery and sent for viewing.
