Since starting my journey in photography in 2012, I always dreamed of having a studio in Greensboro, and somewhere I could be proud to bring clients to. This was not something that happened overnight. My first studio was in my garage where I lived in Winston Salem. This was NOT ideal, as you can imagine considering we had 3 dogs that LOVED attention.

As time went by, a great friend and fellow photographer, Ariel Perez, decided to lease a commercial space that we can use as a shared studio space in Winston Salem. This was a fantastic way of keeping our overhead down while having somewhere to shoot in the heat of the summer and bitter cold of winter. We continued this for about a year when Ariel decided he was moving on to other things. This was going to be a challenging paying the lease on my own but was 110% up to the challenge.

A little over a year later as we began to outgrow our home, Amy and I decided to start looking at houses and considered moving to Greensboro, Stokesdale or Kernersville… we landed in Stokesdale we couldn’t have ask for a better location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city life. With our dreams coming true and our house being built it was time to consider if I would make the commute to the Studio in Winston Salem or start looking for space in Greensboro.

We sold the house in Winston Salem and I leased space in downtown Greensboro that was less than ideal. A few months flew by and I went to eat at Kao at Revolution Mill. I was in love and had to be a part of it. A few phone calls and emails later I took a look at a few open spaces they had available and landed on suite 14.
